Redneck Vampires, Jelly, and Ice Cream
My current WIP, Rednecks N' Rock Candy is rolling along. Yes, it's a vamp and he's a what the heroine considers a redneck - a country sheriff. Strange concept you think? Well, this is the sequel to my first redneck vampire, Rednecks N' Roses which went over well with my fans. I won't give away my plot on the current one, but in Roses Amber, an aspiring romance writer, inherits a farm house in the middle of no where only to discover a newly made vampire living there. He "sleeps' in the bathtub, gets his blood from deer by hunting them with a rifle, and wears flannel shirt and biboveralls. What a perfect subject for a romance writer! Once Amber turns him into a suave, urban vampire, she'll have the perfect hero for a story, won't she? Oh - the hero's name - Rusty Nipple. The second story picks up where the first one left off with Rusty's cousin Brad and Amber's friend Mandi.
Anyway, I took off an afternoon and whipped up some strawberry jelly since my oldest son loves it and this is strawberry season. Gotta have the fresh.
Oh, remember when you were a kid (Okay, I realize many of you are waaaaaaaaaay too young to remember this) and an ice cream truck drove up your street once a week? Well, we've got one. Wednesday evenings we can get good hand dipped ice cream - or milkshakes, etc. - right in front of the house. What a wonderful thing.

Ban is being very patient. He has to be. Sosha's story comes before his.
